Systems

Our inventory system – Synapse, utilizes radio frequency bar coding. Incoming inventories are issued an internal lot bar code number for location control and FIFO shipping. Safety stock levels and reorder quantities are easily controlled in this state-of-the-art inventory system.

Cross Docking

Prime Logistics cross-docking services…we take products from the manufacturing plant and deliver them directly to the customer and minimize handling. Prime Logistics, cross-docking services reduce handling and storage of inventory, the extra step of filling a warehouse with inventory before shipping it out is virtually eliminated.

Simply stated – “in one door and out the other.” With cross-docking, we receive goods at our unique location at one door, and ship out through the other door, almost immediately without putting items in storage.

• Prime Logistics’ cross-docking service shifts the focus from “supply chain” to “demand chain.” For example, stock coming into the cross-docking center has already been pre-allocated against a replenishment order generated by a retailer in the supply chain.
• It helps retailers streamline the supply chain from point-of-origin to point-of-sale.
• It also helps reduce operating costs, increase throughput, reduce inventory levels, and helps the increase of sales space.

Prime Logistics warehouse is a modern, clean facility that is
well-lighted and fully sprinkled. Our facility is protected by ADT Security Systems which includes door contacts, motion detectors, impact detectors, and camera surveillance. Additional security is provided by an outside security company, offering security guard service around-the-clock, 24 hours per day. Our material handling equipment includes: forklifts with weight capacities up to 15,000 pounds, equipment that can handle paper roll stock, carton clamp, barrel, drum and crane service. We protect your inventory because our business depends on the safety, security, and protection of your inventory.

Reverse Logistics

Reverse Logistics is the processing of returned merchandise from our customer’s customer. This process includes matching RGA’s (Returned Goods Authorization identifications), sorting salvageable, repairable, and non-salvageable inventories. Prime Logistics provides services include testing, repackaging, returning, re-consignment, disposals and credit issues on returned goods. Coordination includes customer, our customer’s customer, vendors, and carriers. Out sourcing reverse logistics can be much more economical than in-house processing.
